My studio is located at my home, which is in an historic area in the center of Tucson, Arizona. What a happy place to be. It is a space filled with wonderful working companions, boundless creativity and a deep enthusiasm for taking on personal and unique commissions.
Most of the work you will see on this site has been produced in the last five years. Please enjoy your browse.

Lori Ryder: After five years full time in the studio, Lori has cut back her hours so that she can devote more time to her blossoming catering business, Bon Vivant. The regular presence of her Buddha-style wisdom and amazing artistic sensibility will certainly be missed. |
Jessie Shinn: This emerging abstract painter is the newest member of our team. Her background in clay, strong creativity and eagerness to learn all the ropes of the studio make her a wonderful addition!
Colleen Conlin: A recent graduate of U of A’s ceramics program, Colleen is the studio manager at Ben’s Bells, a local community organization known for spreading kindness through their lovely clay bells. In addition to her work there, Colleen comes in to the studio to assist. Here we utilize her strong teaching skills by having her take on a large role in our artist in residence programs at local schools. |
Terri Kay: Terri describes herself as “the remarkable witness to the human condition. I just like hanging out with everyone in the studio.” While Terri loves expanding her knowledge of clay, she also keeps us expanded through her knowledge of astrology. |
Mary Rogot: Whimsical, thought provoking and FUN~ are a few words describing Mary’s sculptural clay art (and Mary!). Mary graciously gives of her time in the studio while she expands her own artistic pursuits! |
Nancy Williams: Nancy has become a prolific clay artist, using her boundless energy to explore the limits of functional outdoor clay. She has secured several local venues for selling her work and participates in local art fairs.
Beth Trapp: Her charm and humor are evident in the work she creates. Beth is always eager to pitch in wherever she is needed and has recently added coming in to the studio an additional day to pursue her own visions in clay.
Loti Gest: She fills the studio with humor and joy. Loti is a master at finding odds and ends we need on Craigslist and Ebay. She also tries to keep the studio current through her vast knowledge of the advantages of social networking. (We’re not quite there yet.)
